Heidi is the co-owner and Executive Director of Dare To Dream. She brings a wealth of experience to her role as a life and business coach, including seven years in private practice as a spiritual director: helping others understand their relationship with the divine and deepen their experience of the sacred in everyday life. Her experience in creating a successful private practice is balanced by her former position as Executive Director for the Claretian Volunteer Program - a large international non-profit organization based in Chicago. In her role as Executive Director Heidi was responsible for overseeing the acceptance and placement of volunteers at specific sites in the U.S. and Central America, keeping the organization on course with its vision and mission, and maintaining a network of strategic partnerships with leaders of other non-profit and for profit organizations to ensure optimal performance of her volunteers and a high level of success for the organization as a whole. She is also one of the founding board members of The Sebastopol Business Group, a local organization dedicated to the professional development of small business owners “who are passionate about what they do for a living and dedicated to providing exceptional quality service in their chosen field”. Heidi along with the other founding board members of the SBG - her husband Jim and dear friend Cory Maguire (real estate agent extraordaire with The Realty Network Group), led the group through a visioning process to identify core values, establish guidelines for membership, create policies and procedures, and articulate four additional leadership positions to help oversee the health and vitality of the group and ensure that the vision and values are upheld. Joy in living is the basis of Heidi’s work; her focus as a coach is to help others trust their inherent wisdom in order to see greater possibilities for their life and take the practical steps necessary for realizing their dreams. She and her husband Jim opened Dare To Dream in 2003 after their own journey of transformation.

Jim is the co-owner and Executive Director of Dare To Dream, along with his wife Heidi, where he has been coaching for the last six years. He spent 17 years working for Nabisco, in the Bay Area, Chicago, and New Jersey where the corporate headquarters were located. The numerous positions he held were all in the functional area of Logistics, or Distribution, which included managing Inventory, Transportation, Warehousing, and Customer Service. In his last position as Director Product Supply, he was responsible for all of the finished goods for one of the divisions, which included the planning of production all the way through delivery to the customer. Jim grew up in Palo Alto, attending Cubberley and Gunn High Schools; following one year at UC Davis, he graduated from San Jose State in 1984 with a B.S. in Business Administration, concentration in Marketing, and a minor in Mathematics. Upon graduation, he immediately started working at Nabisco in Burlingame. While living in the East Bay, he was introduced to Heidi on a blind date through Jim’s brother and sister-in-law in January, 1991. Because Jim was transferring to New Jersey, it was a long-distance romance; they were married in August, 1992, whereupon Heidi moved to join Jim. In his corporate years, two of the things that he enjoyed and excelled at the most were mentoring others, and participating in the Strategic Planning process. His talents for listening well and holding the big picture while working in the details have served him in all endeavors, as these are now brought into his coaching practice. Bringing these skills along with the business background and experience to Dare To Dream has been a personal dream, fulfilling him every day in the job he loves most. His passions in life include Baseball, yoga, historical fiction, and coaching – to help others live their dreams, to serve their community, and to lead others to success!

As a trained therapist Kathy brings the strength of her psychological background to help organizations understand the human aspect involved in structural reorganization and offers trainings for business leaders in how to effectively implement change. Her focus as a life coach is in helping individuals understand the cycles of their personal journey and gain insight from their experiences in order to successfully navigate change. Whether working one to one or leading large groups Kathy has the ability to skillfully guide others through a supportive process that allows them to discover the gifts that are present in the midst of transition and utilize these to create the new structure or paradigm that is called for. She is a certified flower essence practitioner and draws upon her deep connection to the cycles of the earth, the gifts present in the plant and flower world and her passion for the ancient Celtic tradition in her work with others. She has a unique ability to weave these elements together to create metaphors that bring clarity to the opportunities present in change and help others open to the process and discover the gifts awaiting them.

Marjorie Favuzzi is an ADD coach, educator, and job developer who believes that everybody deserves a chance to succeed. Having discovered that she had the talent of ADD at the age of 30, she has spent over 20 years developing the life skills and techniques to help others laugh and dance with ADD successfully. Her heart based approach allows her to listen with compassion, dispel shame, assess challenges, and empower clients with the life skills to maximize the assets of ADD while minimizing the interferences. Her practical series “Turning I Can’t into I CAN!” utilizes BrainGym™ and focusing exercises to teach clients how to get focused anywhere at anytime. Clients learn how to align the mind with the body so that they can learn how they learn best, set goals, get organized, manage time, and complete tasks. This self-management system is taught through workshops, group processing, and the newly released workbook and companion DVD of effective exercises. Patricia London is an associate Life Coach at Dare to Dream. Patricia’s steady commitment to her spiritual growth has given her a solid foundation on which to build her coaching practice. She has a gentle yet dynamic approach to working with her clients, as they journey towards a life filed with clarity and joy. Patricia has worked as a counselor, a minister, an elementary schoolteacher, a Brain Gym practitioner, and an educational tutor for children with ADD and dyslexia. She holds a bachelor degree in Liberal Studies Education from Sonoma State University. Patricia’s addition to the Dare to Dream coaching team is the realization of her soul work and one of her greatest joys. Patricia offers individual coaching, coupled coaching, workshops, meditation classes, and facilitates Dare to Dream’s first ongoing Women’s Group. Patricia’s passion is to assist people on their journey towards growth and transformation. She believes that when true self-knowledge emerges, then not only is there the potential to heal and transform oneself, but also the possibility to heal and transform the planet.
